As KPMG’s Sector Head for Government, I’m responsible for KPMG’s central government practice and also lead our work in the justice sector. I’m a member of the UK IGH Leadership Team and sit on KPMG’s Global Government Leadership Board.

I was elected President of the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) in 2024. As a Chartered Management Consultant, working in the industry for 30 years, I strongly believe in the value consulting delivers to the UK economy and the rewarding career that is available to those who chose to be consultants. The MCA is the voice of the consulting industry and the representative body for the UK’s leading management consulting firms. It also helps promote consultancy as an attractive career destination for school leavers and graduates.

Lisa Jackson

Lisa is the Head of Operations at Going Forward Into Employment, a programme within the Civil Service which opens up employment opportunities to those that may have barriers to employment, including people with convictions. Having started her Civil Service career in the Prison and Probation Service, Lisa saw first-hand the challenges that can be faced by people who have experienced disruption or setbacks in their personal and working lives, and how these barriers can be both external (stigma from others) or internal (confidence and aspirations). With a career anchor in HR, Lisa strongly believes in the benefits of sharing best practice across the public, private and third-sector communities and designing the way we recruit to be inclusive for people of all backgrounds.

Matthias Stausberg

For more than two decades, I’ve been helping organisations in the private and public sector engage and communicate in a changing world.

Much of my work has focused on the intersection of sustainability and advocacy – advancing better environmental and social performance while seeking to meet the ever-increasing expectation that businesses (and their leaders) must be lobbyists for the greater good of humanity.

This journey has allowed me to form a deep understanding of the material ESG risks businesses face today and to deliver strategies, projects and campaigns that convert commitments into action and lasting impact.

In my current role, as Group Advocacy Director at Virgin, I navigate a wide range of global issues for one of the world’s most admired entrepreneurs and the iconic brand he founded. These issues include human rights, peace and security, criminal justice, climate change, drug policy, wildlife/ocean conservation, and refugee action, to name a few.

As part of this work, I collaborate closely with Virgin Group companies around the world, developing strategies and programmes to “walk the talk” and translate advocacy into meaningful corporate engagement, whether its second-chance hiring or the supply-chain integration of refugee-led businesses.

I have extensive line management experience, a proven track record of project delivery in time and budget and superb written and verbal communication skills in English and German.

I currently serve on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Human Rights, the International Council of Advisors to Global Dignity, and the Business Council of the Tent Partnership for Refugees.
I am a non-executive director at Spring Films, an Oscar-nominated, Emmy Award-winning production company specialising in high-end feature and television documentaries.
