FCBA is delighted to announce that after several months of due diligence and focused discussion, we have invited  nGAGE (the BridgeOfHope.careers portal people) to be our partner in showcasing Fair Chance Employers’ jobs, as well as offering Fair Chance Candidates resources to aid their search and applications.

Bridge of Hope’s co-founder and CEO, Michael Corrigan, built his business on what was previously Europe’s biggest recruitment platform for people with criminal records. He says, “We’re excited and are looking forward to partnering with Fair Chance Business Alliance to provide a jobs board solution for employers and people with disadvantageous personal histories. The vital nature of this work is underpinned by the base statistics of both ex-offender employment (less than one in five are in work within six months of leaving prison) and unemployment generally being at ongoing record lows despite nearly one million job vacancies!

We will showcase them on an interactive UK map as part of the ongoing development of this website, hopefully by Q4. Use of the map will be a benefit of your voluntary sector membership of FCBA.

Co-producing training materials with Toyota GB

Toyota logoAs a founding member of FCBA, Toyota GB are opening up new sources of talent and looking to deploy them across the Toyota family of businesses. FCBA and TGB will be co-producing resources that can be used for truly inclusive recruitment across their dealer network and aligned with our Employment Charter.
